This study programme focuses on the realization of applied photography and time-based media tasks through the media of photography and moving image.
The focus is on exploration and elaboration of new solutions (in terms of content and technology) and the development of a unique visual language. Important personal requirements include curiosity and power of imagination, intuition, social competence and perseverance.

The application documents will be submitted in digital form. All documents must be submitted in one PDF file. The PDF must not exceed 50MB and has to contain the following:

2. Upload of your Portfolio

To avoid last minute technical problems, please make sure to plan the upload with enough margin before the deadline! If required, technical support can be requestet via entry-support@uni-ak.ac.at. Registrations after the deadline will not be considered.
Entrance Exam Part 2 (in presence / For valid reasons, this can also take place online in exceptional cases.)
This will take place in the department in Vienna between 26.02.2024 and 01.03.2024. Please bring a camera (smartphones or Polaroid cameras are also acceptable) and a laptop if possible.
The results will be communicated to participants during 04.03. - 08.03.2024.
